Interface & Navigation

iPhone

On iPhone, hierarchical navigation is used:

  1. Domain list
  2. Resource list under a domain
  3. Specific resource page

To return to the resource list, use the back button in the top-left corner. Some resource pages disable the system swipe-back gesture to prevent accidental touches that could cause connection status issues.

iPad and Mac

On iPad and Mac, a two-column layout is used:

  • The left side displays the domain list and resource list.
  • The right side displays the selected resource page.

The left side is not a tree structure, but maintains a similar hierarchy to iPhone: first select a domain, then enter that domain's resource list.

Resource Page Top Status

The resource page navigation bar displays two lines of content:

  • Top line: Resource name
  • Bottom line: Two-step connection progress indicator [Domain ●]──[Resource ●]

The status of each step is indicated by color:

  • Gray: Waiting
  • Blue: Connecting
  • Green: Connected
  • Red: Connection failed

When opening a resource, you will first see the domain step change. Once the domain is ready, the resource step begins to change. Both steps turning green means the resource is fully available.

After a web page finishes loading, the navigation bar no longer displays the connection status, and the page title is shown in the navigation bar instead.

The resource page's top-right menu typically includes:

  • Reconnect
  • Add domain or resource
  • Settings
  • About
  • Exit

The available items may vary depending on the current page.

Real-Time Network Speed

Specific resource pages display real-time upload and download speeds. In VNC landscape mode, the top navigation bar is hidden, and the speed display becomes a draggable floating panel.
